Mount toubkal is the highest Mountain in North Africa. At an altitude of (4167m).and surrounded by towering sister peaks, climbing Toubkal is a fantastically rewarding challenge. Outside the winter months the ascent of Jebel toubkal isn’t technical so as long as you are reasonably fit you stand a decent chance of making it to the top of toubkal. Located just a short distance from Marrakech city, atlas toubkal can be climbed easily on a two days trip.
You will picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8.00am, our driver will pick you up and take you to the heart of high atlas mountains, the trek start from imlil Refuge (1745m). a small Berber village located at 1745m,at 65km on the south west of Marrakech city, you will meet the team in Imlil Refuge, who will accompany you during this Amazing trekking, the driver will drop you off in the village of Imlil, the muleteers will deal with your luggage,and food and all other aquipments that we usually provide for our clients, within 45 minutes you will start the trip with an experienced mountain guide through the berber villages following a mule track which will take you to to the toubkal Refuge via the shrine of chamharouch 2515m. where you will have your lunch prepared in advance by our team, afternoon, continue towards the hut (3207m). as the mules walks faster, our team of muleteers and cook, will pass over and wil be waiting with berber tea for you at the Refuge or camp, you will enjoy the scenic mountains surrounded the dased camp.
A very early breakfast to set out at the crack of dawn to witness a spectacular sunrise and attain, after a 3 hours non-technical but steep climb, the highest peak in the north africa (4167m). the panorama from here is simply stunning. This remarkable climb and view is what you have come so far for. The first recorded climb of this peak, in 1923, was made by the highly rewardable effort. Whenever you are ready, your guide will lead you down the Ikhibi sud or south Crique for a straightforward 2 or 3 hours descent back to the Refuge for your picnic lunch. Afterwards, set off towards the north along steeply descending, zig-zags trails of the higher slopes of the valley of the Assif N’isouhouaenm towards the Berber on which they hang strips of coloured cloth and pile up stones around the trunk.

From here,descent high above the valley of the assif N’Ait Mizzane, down zig-zagging trails around granite and basalt grey rocks for about 8km to the remarkable village of Around (Aremd 1925m). commanding one of the more fertile valleys of the high atlas mountains with terraced, irrigated plots and fields of maize,onions and fruit trees on all sides. Here you may wish to stop for an extra picnic prior to continuing on long the floor of the valley. continue up a well-defined mule track zig-zagging above the river for some 4km to arrive, at around 4 in the afternoon, after a long days activity,back at the berber hamlet of imlil and transfer back to Marrakech.
